Rachel Mays

With a heart the shape of Africa, Rachel Leigh Mays has had a passion for central Africa going all the way back to her first memories in kindergarten. Her first visit was to the Maghreb where she backpacked through Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. A couple of years later she returned to live in Chad for two years with the Peace Corps. During that time, she spent time in Cameroon and the Congo and returned a few years later with a friend from Uganda to her hometown for a few months. Suffice it to say, Rachel is at home in Africa and thrilled to be a part of the advising team at Lengoafrika.

Rachel is an experienced realtor with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry. She’s skilled in Real Property, Qualifying Prospects, Client Relations, and French to boot! Rachel is a strong professional with a master’s degree focused in Urban & Regional Planning from University of New Orleans.
